"Paradise boarding on 50 acres of trails with cosy, spacious accommodations. Your pooches home away from home!” This statement is a cut and paste right from Chantelle and Gary’s website, and it is %100 the perfect statement. When we found their business online, we called to see if we could come and check out their setup, they were very accommodating allowing us to stop in. From the moment we opened the truck door our puppy was super happy with the other friendly dogs on scene, playing and running free within the very large fenced in area. Their children were even there playing and having fun with us and the other dogs. The building that houses the dogs is very roomy, heated, and super clean. We even brought our own crate and chew toy for our puppy to sleep in for added comfort.

We sent Rex (9 mth old Brittany Springer mix) for a weekend stay, and then for a full week for March Break a few months later (this was super hard for us, but we were travelling by air). Chantelle and Gary made us feel as though we were leaving Rex with family members. We received daily photos and videos of Rex playing with other dogs, playing fetch, and just being able to be a dog and get his energy out. Daily walks in large open fields were also a part of Rex’s every day life while staying with them. Rex is young and still walked on a leash but multiple dogs were off leash throughout the week while he was there, we already see a difference in Rex’s walking because of what he experienced with the other dogs being off leash.

Rex was never alone unless it was time for a Kong/chew toy, or to sleep, and even then, the other dogs are separated, but there to communicate with each other.

"Do you ever daydream about your perfect vacation accommodation? What about a dream accommodation for your dog? We have 2 young and very active labrador retrievers so the dream for us was open fields for running and lots of attention for frisbee and ball play. The sleeping must accommodate both dogs and their personal dog beds. Our dogs are not caged so it would be ideal if their "kennel" was spacious and more like a room in my house vs. a dog cage and outside access is a must. An added bonus would be to have someone onsite that could handle a doggie medical emergency.

Well our dreams came true when we found Pawreciouspets. We went for a meet and greet to check out the facilities and wow, the "suites" are new, clean, spacious with added touches of home including heating/air conditioning and a radio that tunes the out external noises. The suites are also spacious enough for both dogs and their beds. The suites are bordered by a fenced run, more like a paddock, which is big enough for ball and frisbee. Chantelle and Gary have thought of everything. But wait, there is more. In addition to the paddock area, the property has acres of open fields and trails and Chantelle and Gary take the dogs for long walks/runs/playtime. If all of that isn't enough, Chantelle is also a Registered Vet Technician.

We are now living the dream as we just returned from a week away and the dogs vacationed at Pawreciouspets. We received regular updates which included photos and videos and returned to find the dogs contented, stress-free and relaxed. We have already booked our dogs for their next vacation. "In all honesty I am one of those over protective dog moms. 😊. I had boarded Wolfie, my husky, before and it was not a positive experience. I was so reluctant to board him again so we hadn’t been anywhere without Wolfie for over three years. Then Chantelle and Gary were recommended to me by a close friend whom I trust so I decided to check them out and it was the best thing I ever did for both Wolfie and I. Wolfie absolutely loves it there. The setup they have was made for my high energy boy. The large fenced in area for them all to run and play in, plus the trails in the woods for many walks and for them to run are perfect for Wolfie. Wolfie is in his glory when he is there. The large rooms are perfect for him to have a rest when needed. So much room even for my larger dog. His full on husky howl and helicopter tail every time we pull in the driveway is evidence that he loves it. He gets so excited. He can’t wait to get out of the truck to greet everyone. For me, leaving him with a registered vet tech provides peace of mind for sure. The fact that all dogs go through an interview process to make sure they are a good fit and have the right temperament was another important piece in making me comfortable leaving Wolfie but honestly the cherry on top is the love, personal attention, play time and care that Wolfie receives from Chantelle, Gary and the kids. "Our family was planning a vacation and needed someone who could watch out 9 month old puppy. He is an Australian Shepherd who is used to being outside a lot and spending time with kids. We knew leaving him home and having family members pop in just wasn’t an option.and boarding in a cement cell just wasn’t an option either. We came across Chantelle and Gary on Facebook and checked out their services. We were so impressed. Each pup got a huge room with windows, lots of area to run and play and of course the daily walks so the dogs can really run and blow off steam. We got updates daily on all the fun he was having, making new friends and going on daily adventures. "Our female lab “Charlie” recently spent 8 nights at Pawrecious Pets all inclusive luxury dog boarding in Prince Edward County. We used to have two cats - the older one (Boots) was very sick and required daily medication and extra special attention. Chantelle and Gary from Pawrecious Pets walked my dog Pebbles during a week while I was away. "I dislike telling everyone how wonderful Chantelle and Gary are because I would much rather keep them all to myself! However, it would be selfish of me not to share this with others, who like me, could not bear the fact of kenneling their fur kids.

I found Pawrecious Pets online and have to say, I felt relieved after the first inquiry. Bella loved Chantelle at the first meeting! Chantelle is very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. It was comforting to know that she is a registered RVT and in the event of an emergency, she would know what to do as our Bella has seizures.

Both my pets are back door strays. Bella, the Rotti, is 12 years old and Felix, the cat, is just a normal rambunctious 2 year old. She made me trust that I could go on vacation and my kids would be well taken care of. Daily pics and updates were sent to us and it made our vacation that much more enjoyable!

After returning home, we found our home was exactly as we had left it. Mail was brought in, Garbage was put out and the house was clean! Bella and Felix were healthy and happy! Even though the kids were glad to see us, I detected a bit of disappointment. I think they were expecting Chantelle and Gary!

So, if you have any reservations about using a Pet sitting service, know that you can have total peace of mind with Pawrecious Pets. They are A1 in my books!

Where we would normally have friends and family look in on our pets we felt that these two were too young to be left alone without a few daily visits.
